As a design student, I spent a month at Auroville Leather Craft Cluster, where I designed and handcrafted a leather bag from start to finish, including embossing, stitching, coloring, and using vegetarian leather. Inspired by Auroville’s serene environment, the bag was created for tourists seeking mindfulness and meditation, with compartments for essentials such as a water bottle, eye case, and towel. This project offered valuable hands-on learning in craftsmanship, material handling, and functional design.
